Terms of Use
1. Purpose
Opinaro is an independent app that explains data to the general public. For non-political social topics it sets side by side: the published results of the European Commission’s Eurobarometer surveys, measured figures published by the World Bank, and the answers of the app’s users. It is provided for general information only.
2. Sources and licences
- Official surveys: European Commission, Standard Eurobarometer, results published on data.europa.eu. © European Union, reuse authorised by Decision 2011/833/EU, source cited, meaning not distorted. Questions are rephrased in plain language by the publisher; the original wording is shown under each result. The European Commission is not affiliated with Opinaro and does not endorse it.
- Measured figures: World Bank, World Development Indicators, CC BY 4.0 licence. The World Bank does not endorse or guarantee this app.
- “Your say”: aggregated answers from Opinaro users. Not representative, not scientific: they must never be read with the same value as an official survey.
3. Not advice, not a polling institute
Explanatory texts are written by the publisher and may contain errors. Nothing in the app is financial, legal, medical or professional advice. Opinaro is not a polling institute and publishes no electoral poll; by editorial choice, no question concerns elections, parties, governments or political figures.
4. Taking part in “Your say” questions
Reserved for people aged 18 or over. One answer per question and per device. Any attempt to automate or multiply answers is prohibited. Answers are anonymous and cannot be withdrawn once merged into the total (see the privacy policy).
5. Opinaro Plus
Some features (extended comparator, full trend, results by age group) are available through a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time “lifetime” purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your store’s currency. The subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from your App Store or Google Play account settings. Any free trial converts into a paid subscription at its end unless cancelled. Refunds are not handled by the publisher: contact Apple or Google under their rules.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, icon, texts and layout belong to the publisher. Third-party data remains subject to its own licences. You may share screenshots for personal, non-commercial purposes, keeping the source notices.
7. Availability and liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of availability or accuracy. Official data is reproduced as published, with its date; it may be old or revised by its source. The publisher cannot be held liable for any decision taken on the basis of the app.
