Lunaria

Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 July 2026

The essentials: Lunaria offers introspective, poetic guidance for entertainment purposes. It does not predict the future and never replaces the advice of a doctor, a financial adviser or a lawyer. Your decisions remain entirely your own.

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the Lunaria mobile app, published by Stéphane Hirondelle ("we", "the publisher").

By installing and using Lunaria, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

2. What Lunaria is — and is not

Lunaria is an app for introspective guidance and entertainment. It brings together three symbolic traditions — astrology, tarot and numerology — to offer you a daily text meant to feed your personal reflection.

Astronomical positions are genuinely calculated, on your device. The interpretation drawn from them, however, belongs to a symbolic tradition, not to a scientifically demonstrated method.

Lunaria is not:

No text produced by the app is a statement of fact about what will happen in your life.

3. No medical, financial or legal advice

Lunaria's content is in no way a substitute for the advice of a qualified professional.

On those three subjects, the app's oracle is deliberately designed to predict nothing and to invite you to consult a professional. This behaviour is intentional and is not a fault of the app.

If you are in psychological distress, please contact an emergency service or a helpline in your country without delay.

4. Minimum age

Lunaria is intended for people aged 16 or over. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If you are a minor, you must have the agreement of your parent or legal guardian, and any purchase must be made with their consent and under their responsibility.

5. Access to the app

Lunaria requires no account, no sign-up and no email address. Access is tied to the device on which the app is installed.

One important consequence: if you uninstall the app, change phone or erase your data, your profile, streak and progress are lost, because they exist only on your device. An active subscription, however, can be restored from your App Store or Google Play account.

6. 7-day trial

On first opening, Lunaria unlocks all of its features for 7 days.

7. Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Lunaria offers paid subscriptions, and may offer one-off purchases (such as detailed reports). The features unlocked by each plan are described in the app, on the subscription screen.

8. Managing and cancelling

Your subscription is managed and cancelled only from your platform account — we have no control over it:

Cancellation must happen at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next renewal. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Uninstalling the app or erasing your data does not cancel a subscription.

9. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, under their own rules, not by the publisher. We can neither grant nor refuse a refund on your behalf.

Any rights you have under the consumer legislation of your country of residence remain fully applicable.

10. Acceptable use

You agree to use Lunaria in good faith. In particular, you must not:

11. Intellectual property

The app, its name, visual identity, illustrations, texts, interpretations, structure and code are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of Stéphane Hirondelle or its partners.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right of use, limited to normal use of the app. No other rights are transferred.

Cards generated by the app may be shared personally, without modifying them or removing the app's credit. Any commercial use requires our written agreement.

12. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the app working properly, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of defects.

We may change features, add them, modify them or remove them, in particular for technical, legal or platform-compliance reasons. Should a paid feature disappear for a lasting period, you may cancel your subscription under the conditions above.

13. Limitation of liability

Lunaria is a tool for reflection and entertainment. You remain the sole decision-maker, and you alone are responsible for the decisions you take, whatever your reading of the day may have said.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages — loss of opportunity, emotional distress, financial loss, or the consequences of a personal or professional decision — arising from the use or interpretation of the app's content.

None of these limitations excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, in particular in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or harm to life or physical integrity. Statutory guarantees of conformity apply in full.

14. Personal data

Lunaria runs on your device and collects no personal data. The details are set out in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.

In case of disagreement, please write to us first at stephanehirondelle@gmail.com: most situations are settled that way. Failing an amicable solution, you may use a consumer mediation service free of charge; the details of the competent mediator will be provided on simple request at that same address.
