Lunaria

In one sentence: Lunaria runs on your phone. There is no account and no email address to give. Your birth details stay in your device's storage and never leave it. The only thing that can leave your phone is the text of a question you ask Luna — and only if you have explicitly accepted it.
The Lunaria app is published by Stéphane Hirondelle, acting as data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Lunaria asks for the minimum needed to calculate your readings. Here is the complete list.

That is all. There is nothing else.
This information is used solely to provide the service you asked for: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Daily notifications rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by turning them off.
Only in your device's local storage (the app's private storage). Your first name, your date and place of birth, your readings and your draws never leave it.
One exception, and it is yours to make: if you allow Luna to answer using artificial intelligence, the text of your question is sent to a provider to compose the answer. The details are in section 12.
In practice: the publisher of Lunaria does not know your first name, your date of birth or your readings. We have no technical way to reach them, and no user database exists.
If your phone backs up your apps automatically (iCloud, Google backup), this data may be included in that backup. The backup belongs to you and is governed by your device settings, not by Lunaria.
The fonts are bundled inside the app: even displaying a page triggers no outside request.
The compatibility feature asks for another person's first name and date of birth. Those details are not saved: they live for the duration of that screen, then disappear when you leave it. They are neither stored nor transmitted.
Out of respect for that person, only enter their details if they agree.
Lunaria subscriptions are sold and charged by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google), depending on where you installed the app.
The daily reminder is a local notification: the app schedules it on your phone, at the hour you choose. There is no notification server, no device token, no data sent.
You can turn it off at any time in the app, or in your phone's settings.
Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep the app. We apply no retention period: we hold nothing.
There are two ways to erase everything, immediately and permanently:

Please note: erasing your data does not cancel an active subscription. Cancellation is done in your App Store or Google Play settings.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data.
With Lunaria, you exercise those rights directly, without writing to us or waiting: the data is on your device, in your hands.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can write to us at stephanehirondelle@gmail.com, and lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
If you do not switch on the AI oracle: no transfer at all. Your data does not leave your device.
If you do switch it on: the text of your question passes through our relay server, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), and is then processed by Google (Gemini API), whose servers may be located outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. This transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, incorporated into the Google Cloud terms. Google undertakes not to use this content to train its models under the paid API.
Lunaria is not intended for young children and knowingly collects no data about them. The minimum age of use is set out in the Terms of Use.
Luna, our oracle, can answer in her own words using artificial intelligence. This feature is optional and you must accept it explicitly: until you do, answers are composed on your phone from bundled texts, with no outside call whatsoever. If you decline, the app remains fully usable.
Here is exactly what happens once you have accepted:
If you decline, or as long as you have accepted nothing, Lunaria makes no outgoing connection at all.
If the way the app works changes, this page is updated and the date at the top is corrected. For a significant change — such as adding the AI oracle — you will be informed inside the app.
